Hello!
I am so very excited to be your 6th grade Math and Science teacher. This is my second year at Lindbergh, 2nd year teaching both subjects and my fourth year teaching. I absolutely love math and science and hope you do as well by the end of the school year!

This has been an exciting summer for me. I visited Alaska, the Cayman Islands, Cozumel and got married. For those of you who have siblings who may have had me previously, I was Ms. Drummond. We will go over how to say my last name, but if you ever have trouble, just call me Mrs. U. :)
My new husband, Dan, is a cartographer, which means he makes maps for a living. Pretty cool stuff.

A little about me: I like to get outdoors and try new things. I went glacier hiking and white water rafting for the first time in Alaska this summer. It was phenomenal! I cannot wait to get to know all of you and hear about your summers as well! I hate sweets, love salty stuff and am an avid tea and coffee drinker. I cannot go a day without it.
I will try my best to make science and math real world for you everyday. It is one of my favorite things to do!

We have a class pet. For one semester it will be a big bearded dragon named Uncle Si, and for the second semester we will try to bring in the younger lizard ZZ Topp. If you would like, you will have the opportunity to take care of our class pet.
